On August 31, 2026, following the opening of the new building of General Education Institution No. 105 in Dushanbe, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, met with education sector employees on the occasion of Knowledge Day.
The meeting was broadcast live on television channels, and the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan collectively watched the meeting in the main hall.
At the same time, collective viewings of the Leader of the Nation’s meeting with education sector employees, dedicated to Knowledge Day, were organized at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Fire Safety College, the Police College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as in the units of the internal affairs bodies.
In his speech, the Leader of the Nation paid particular attention to the continuous attention of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the education sector, the construction and renovation of educational institutions, the development of preschool facilities, improving the qualifications of teachers, and enhancing the quality of education and upbringing.
Particular emphasis was also placed on bringing textbooks into line with modern requirements, raising the level of knowledge acquisition and public awareness, and developing a culture of using smartphones, artificial intelligence, and social media. The Leader of the Nation specifically spoke about the harmful effects and negative consequences of improper use of mobile phones on health and the educational and upbringing process.
It was emphasized that teachers and parents bear an important responsibility for the upbringing of the younger generation and are obliged to instill in students respect for the Motherland, the law, parents, and national values, as well as to foster a culture of career choice.
Following the collective viewing of the meeting of the Leader of the Nation with education sector employees, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Major General Jamshid Khol Mashrabzoda, shared his views on the important points of the Leader of the Nation’s speech.
It was emphasized that among the most important responsibilities of every employee of the internal affairs bodies is the implementation of the instructions and directives of the Leader of the Nation, particularly in the areas of improving legal awareness, developing a culture of using modern technologies, and educating young people and adolescents in the spirit of patriotism and national consciousness. In carrying out their official duties, employees should be guided by these principles as fundamental aspects of their professional activities.
