Officers of the Shahriнав District Department of Internal Affairs detained citizen O.O. Goibov, born in 2003 and a resident of the district, on suspicion of committing extortion.
It was established that the aforementioned individual was in a romantic relationship with citizen B.M. and, with the intention of obtaining money, threatened to distribute her personal photographs stored on her mobile phone among her relatives.
Through threats, O.O. Goibov demanded and received money from the victim in two installments: the first time, 6,000 somoni via the “Dushanbe City” electronic wallet, and the second time, 8,000 somoni in cash. Thus, the total amount of money received was 14,000 somoni.
Investigative measures in connection with this incident are ongoing.
