On July 23, 2026, at approximately 1:24 a.m., the driver of a BYD e2 vehicle, state registration number 9371 TT09, Hikmatullo Rakhmatjonovich Gayurov, born in 2000 and a resident of Sino District of Dushanbe, was driving along Borbad Street in the direction of 50 Years Anniversary Street. Near the “Soro-Oil” gas station, he lost control of the vehicle, struck pedestrian Avaz Ismonovich Safarov, born in 1986 and temporarily residing in Firdausi District of Dushanbe, and then collided with the rear of a Toyota vehicle, state registration number 0110 OV 07, driven by citizen Sukhrob Olimjonovich Tashripov.
As a result of the road traffic accident, pedestrian A.I. Safarov sustained serious bodily injuries and died at the scene.
