During operational search activities, officers of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Khujand established that citizen Shoira Kholmatova, born in 1977 and a resident of Isfisor Jamoat of Bobojon Gafurov District, who had previously been convicted in 2023 under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, was suspected of committing a theft.
The preliminary investigation established that on July 2, 2026, at approximately 11:00 a.m., on the premises of the “Panchshanbe” Market in the city of Khujand, the suspect secretly stole 54,000 Russian rubles from the bag of citizen Sh. Umarova and then fled the scene.
A criminal case has been initiated against Sh. Kholmatova under Part 2 of Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
