A case of intentional infliction of serious bodily harm has been uncovered in Matcha District of Sughd Region, and a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect.
On July 24, 2026, as a result of operational search activities, citizen Khikmatov Khidoyatullo, born in 1982 and a resident of the Obburdon Rural Jamoat, was detained.
It was established that at approximately 1:00 p.m., during a family dispute, he got into an argument with his father-in-law, M.B. Badiev, born in 1958, and inflicted three stab wounds to his chest area. As a result, M.B. Badiev sustained serious bodily injuries and was hospitalized.
A criminal case has been initiated against Kh.N. Khikmatov under Part 2 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The investigation is ongoing.
