On June 30, 2026, at approximately 05:45 a.m., the driver of an “Velmaster Electric Vehicle,” state registration number 99-00 UL 02, Shukhrat Khasanovich Rakhimov, born in 2000 and a resident of the city of Isfara, was traveling on the Khujand – Dushanbe – Chanak highway at the 112th kilometer, within the territory of the Anzob rural jamoat of the Ayni district, when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter driven by Dzhamol Manonovich Eshmanov, born in 1994 and a resident of the Bobojon Ghafurov district.
As a result of the traffic accident, passengers of the “Velmaster Electric Vehicle” — Anisa Azamjonovna Khuseynova, born in 1999, and Asliddin Makhmadovich Gulomnabiev, born in 2007, residents of the city of Khujand — died at the scene from their injuries.
The driver of the “Velmaster Electric Vehicle,” as well as another passenger in the vehicle, sustained serious bodily injuries and were hospitalized.
A preliminary investigation into the incident is ongoing.
