Officers of the Bokhtar City Department of Internal Affairs detained S.M. Shokarimov, born in 1995 and a resident of Bokhtar, on suspicion of committing fraud.
The investigation established that in December 2024, Shokarimov gained the trust of A.I. Pirmatov, a resident of Qubodiyon District, through deception. He promised to use his connections to arrange for Pirmatov to be appointed as an authorized supplier (dealer) of domestically produced cement in the districts of Qubodiyon, Shahritus, and Nosiri Khusrav.
For this purpose, Shokarimov demanded and received 315,000 somoni from the victim. However, he failed to carry out any of the promised actions and instead used the money for personal purposes.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
