Officers of the Murghob District Department of Internal Affairs detained Japarkul Nimatovich Mamadaliyev, born in 1987 and a resident of the G. Bardibayev Rural Jamoat of Murghob District, on suspicion of misappropriation or embezzlement.
The investigation established that in the autumn of 2020, under a verbal agreement, Mamadaliyev received 55 head of small livestock (sheep and goats) from Mikhail Davlatovich Shamsiddinov, born in 1956 and a resident of the same district, for care and maintenance. However, between 2020 and 2025, he allegedly appropriated the animals and used them for personal purposes. The damage caused amounted to 88,000 somoni.
It was further established that Mamadaliyev similarly took custody of 20 head of small livestock belonging to Karimdod Davlatbekovich Katurov, a resident of Murghob District. Between 2020 and 2025, he allegedly used these animals for his own benefit. The resulting damage was estimated at 32,000 somoni.
A criminal case has been initiated against Japarkul Mamadaliyev, and the investigation is ongoing.
