With the aim of developing the sports sector and promoting a healthy lifestyle, in accordance with the approved plan of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Republican Council “Dynamo,” and in cooperation with the OSCE, a youth event was held from June 9 to 12 of the current year among teenagers and young people of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
More than 10 teams participated, consisting of students from local educational institutions and young people, who demonstrated a high level of sporting skill.
As a result, first place was taken by the team of Secondary School No. 1 of Kalai Khumb village, second place went to the team of Secondary School No. 4 of Zingi village, and third place was also awarded to another team from Secondary School No. 1 of Kalai Khumb village.
The winners were awarded medals, cups, certificates of honor, letters of appreciation, and commemorative gifts.
Similar sporting events organized by the Republican Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Dynamo” are planned to be held in other cities and districts as well.
