Regular Meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States
On June 5, 2026, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Ramazon Hamro Rahimzoda, participated in and addressed the regular meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was attended by delegations from the ministries of internal affairs and public security agencies of the SCO member states, as well as representatives of the permanent bodies of the organization, Interpol, and the Bureau for the Coordination of Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Crimes in the Territories of the CIS Member States (BCCOC).
During the meeting, the ministers exchanged views in an open and friendly atmosphere on issues of international and regional security, further development of cooperation in combating terrorism, extremism, and separatism, as well as countering transnational organized crime.
In addition, participants exchanged opinions on contemporary threats and challenges, including issues arising from the rapid development of digital technologies.
The parties emphasized the importance of ensuring information security and strengthening effective cooperation in combating threats in cyberspace.
In accordance with the meeting agenda, the participants discussed views and proposals for the further development of cooperation in the law enforcement sphere. Special attention was paid to combating transnational crime, eliminating modern factors threatening security, and strengthening coordinated measures in this area.
At the same time, detailed discussions were held on combating crimes committed through the use of information technologies. Participants highlighted the importance of developing effective measures against cybercrime and expanding practical cooperation in preventing and suppressing offenses committed using artificial intelligence technologies.
Following the meeting, the relevant Protocol was signed.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship, mutual trust, and constructive cooperation.
Within the framework of the regular meeting of the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security of the SCO member states, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Ramazon Hamro Rahimzoda, and the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan held meetings with the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Eskandar Momeni, the Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, as well as representatives of these agencies.
Furthermore, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Ramazon Hamro Rahimzoda, held separate talks with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police General Vladimir Alexandrovich Kolokoltsev; the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Lieutenant General of Militia Ivan Vladimirovich Kubrakov; the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Aziz Anvarovich Tashpulatov; the Deputy Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, Liu Ujin; and the Secretary General of Interpol, Valdecy Urquiza.
