On May 29, 2026, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel Ilkhomiddin Sirojiddin Valizoda, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to the Republic of Tajikistan, resident in Moscow, Mr. John Geering.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries in combating terrorism, extremism, as well as addressing modern threats and challenges.
The parties also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest and expressed their readiness to further develop and expand bilateral cooperation.
