On May 25, 2026, on the eve of the sacred holiday of Eid al-Adha, a food fair was organized near the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of subsidiary farms of the Ministry. The aim of the event was to provide employees with quality products and to diversify festive meals.
At the fair, subsidiary farms from districts under republican jurisdiction, cities and districts of the Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as districts of the Rasht Valley, presented their products at affordable prices — 30–40 percent lower than market rates.
Visitors were offered meat, rice, onions, eggs, potatoes, carrots, and other vegetables and fruits. In addition, responsible units sold flour, vegetable oil, meat products, and tropical fruits at reduced prices.
Personnel expressed their gratitude for the initiative.
At the initiative of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, such food fairs are regularly held for internal affairs officers ahead of various holidays.
