Farhod Urmoni, born in 1989, a resident of the Jabor Rasulov District, has been detained on suspicion of grossly disturbing public order and intentionally causing serious bodily harm.
According to the investigation, on the evening of May 17, 2026, at around 23:00, the suspect, together with D. Nurmatov, was at a billiard hall located in the Dehmai Jamoat of Jabor Rasulov District. While intoxicated, they got into a conflict with local residents A.G. Sanginov, born in 1985, and D.Sh. Djuraev, born in 1996, who were also intoxicated.
The verbal altercation quickly escalated into a fight, severely disturbing public order. During the conflict, Farhod Urmoni punched Djuraev in the jaw. The victim fell and hit his head on a concrete irrigation ditch.
Due to the severe injuries sustained, Djuraev died on the way to the hospital.
A criminal case has been initiated against Farhod Urmoni under Part 3 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. The suspect has been taken into custody, and the investigation continues.
