On May 15, 2026, at approximately 21:05, the driver of an Opel Zafira, Saifiddin Yunusov, born in 1997, a resident of Aht District, traveling from the Punuk Jamoat toward the village of Dusti, lost control and struck a pedestrian — Muhibjon Hamzaliyev, born in 1987.
The pedestrian died at the scene from severe injuries.
The following day, on May 16, 2026, at approximately 20:05, the driver of a VAZ-2106, Tolibjon Djuraev, born in 1975, while driving on the road in Shaydon, Aht District, entered the oncoming lane and collided with an Opel Zafira driven by Zoirshokh Khasanov, born in 1994.
As a result of the accident, the VAZ-2106 driver, Tolibjon Djuraev, and his young passenger, Muhammad Rahimov, born in 2018, died at the scene. The Opel Zafira driver sustained various injuries and was hospitalized.
Investigations are ongoing for both incidents.
