On May 11, 2026, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, colonel-general of militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro held a meeting with the Special Representative of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior for Migration, Mr. Ludwig Jung.
The Minister of Internal Affairs and Ludwig Jung agreed to strengthen cooperation in the areas of migration, diversification the migration process, simplifying the documentation system for migrants, and preventing fraud, as well as the need to sign cooperation agreements on combating crime and readmission.  The meeting also included an exchange of views on strengthening cooperation in the fight against transnational organized crime, cybercrime (online fraud), terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and other issues of interest.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the development of bilateral cooperation in law enforcement and security.
