On March 18, 2026, at approximately 18:00 p.m., the driver of an Opel Astra, born in 1995, a resident of Dushanbe, lost control of his vehicle while driving on the Gissar-Dushanbe highway in the Rudaki district hit  a pedestrian, boy, born in 2014, a resident of the Rudaki district. The pedestrian died at the spot of the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
