As a result of an investigative operation, militia detained a 28-year-old resident of the Matcha District, previously convicted under Articles 177 and 237 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, on suspicion of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.
On February 2, 2026, at approximately 18:30 p.m., the detainee engaged in a fight with a 37-year-old local resident on M. Boki Street in the Matcha District. He stabbed the victim in the chest, shoulder, and right arm with a knife, causing bodily harm.
At that time, his neighbor, a 49-year-old local resident, approached the scene to break up the fight. The suspect also struck him in the leg, causing bodily harm.
According to a forensic medical examination, the victim's injuries were classified as "severe." A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
