As a result of investigative operations, militia officers established that a 33-year-old resident of Vahdat, while in the Russian Federation in late 2024, fraudulently exploited the trust of a 37-year-old resident of Vahdat and obtained 2.3 million Russian rubles in two installments for business development. However, he used the money for personal gain. 
Additionally, during other investigative activities, militia officers established that on November 2, 2025, a 27-year-old Dushanbe resident gained the trust of a 27-year-old resident of the capital, took his BMW 520 for $20,000 within 15 days, sold the car for 132,000 somoni, and spent the proceeds on personal needs.
An investigation is underway into these incidents.
