During the course of operational-search activities, militia officers detained a 22-year-old resident of Zafarobod district on suspicion of committing a hooliganism crime.
On January 16, 2026, at approximately 20:00 p.m., the suspect was in a drunken state in the center of the Mehnatobod settlement of the district. Out of feelings of hooliganism due to a conflict that arose, he got into a fight with a 23-year-old resident of the same district, violated public order, armed himself with a household knife, and stabbed him once in the chest, causing bodily harm. Then, with a knife, he stabbed the tire of the latter's his car, the Opel-Vectra, causing material damage in the amount of 250 somoni.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 3 of Article 237 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the investigation is ongoing.
