On December 17, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the driver of a GAZ-53 truck, the man, born in 1971, a resident of the Dangara District, was transporting four tons and 600 liters of drinking water from the center of the Dangara District to the village of Somondekh in the district. He lost control of the truck, and the truck fell 95 meters down a hill. A passenger in the truck, his wife, Khosiyat Barotova, born in 1975, a local resident, fell from the cab and died at the spot.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
