During investigative operations, police officers discovered that, by prior conspiracy, two men, aged 30 and 27, from Khujand and the Shahristan district, on December 15, 2025, at approximately 15:30 p.m., forced a 36-year-old local resident into an “Opel Zafira” belonging to the 30-year-old man with the intent to kill him. They drove to the 27th microdistrict of Khujand, arrived at a deserted area, and assaulted the victim. The 30-year-old man then stabbed the victim 13 times in the chest and 25 times in other vital organs.
After the victim's death, to escape prosecution, the suspects drove the body to the “Navruzgokh” recreation park in Khujand and dumped it in the “Syrdaryo” River. A criminal case has been opened against the suspects under Part 2 of Article 104 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
