During an operational search, police detained a 42-year-old Dushanbe resident on suspicion of fraud.
In 2021, the suspect gained the trust of a 37-year-old Dushanbe resident, took $7,000 from him, and promised to allocate him a 0.6-hectare plot of land in the Shokhmansur district. However, he never fulfilled his promise.
An investigation is underway.
