On November 14, 2025, at approximately 3:30 PM, the driver of a “Hyundai Porter”, a man, born in 1992, a resident of the Shakhristan district, lost control of his vehicle while driving along the 260th kilometer of the “Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanok” highway and ran over a woman and her daughter, and two local residents.
As a result, the woman died at the spot of the accident, and her daughter was taken to the hospital in serious condition. 
Also, on November 15, 2025, the driver of a “Daewoo Damas”,  a man, born in 1972, a resident of Istaravshan, lost control of the vehicle and ran over a man, cyclist, born in 2002, a local resident.
As a result, the cyclist, sustained injuries of varying severity and died at the spot. The aforementioned driver was hospitalized.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
