On November 4, 2025, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Ramazon Hamro Rahimzoda, met with a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Colonel Ayubkhon Toshkhujaevich Rakhmatullaev, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Operational-Investigative Department.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda welcomed Ayubkhon Toshkhujaevich and his accompanying persons to the Republic of Tajikistan. He also noted that bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan is developing and improving on the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements, and that this mutually beneficial cooperation can be fruitful in combating the adverse phenomena, dangers, and threats of our time.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on strengthening bilateral ties in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and other issues of mutual interest.
