On August 17, 2025, at approximately 02:00, the driver of the “Mercedes Atero” vehicle, the man, born in 1983, a resident of the city of Istaravshan, while driving along the “Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanok” highway in the Bogi Murod area of the Ayni district, lost control, drove into the oncoming lane, crashed into a concrete barrier, fell into the “Fondaryo” River and drowned.
The militias are conducting operational search activities to find the driver's body.
Thus, on August 18, 2025, at approximately 00:50, the driver of the “Opel-Ashka” vehicle, born in 1996, a resident of the B. Gafurov district, while driving on the highway on Gagarin Avenue in the 31st microdistrict of the city of Khujand, lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a BYD, driven by the man, born in 1979, a resident of the B. Gafurov district. 
As a result of the accident, of the “Opel-Ashka” the four male passengers: residents of the B. Gafurov district, died at the spot of the accident from their injuries.
The driver of the “Opel-Ashka” and his passengers: the man and the woman, born in 2004, a resident of the B. Gafurov district, were taken to the hospital with serious bodily injuries.
An investigation is underway into the accident.
