August 11-14, 2025, the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States is being held in St. Petersburg, in which the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, took part.
Representatives of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Uzbekistan, representatives of the Bureau for the Coordination of the Fight against Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crimes in the Territory of the CIS (BCBOP), the CIS Anti-Terrorist Center also took part in the meeting.
The agenda considered 12 issues, including priority issues of cooperation between the ministries of internal affairs of the CIS member states, and the progress of interstate programs in the fight against crime, the draft Concept for the Development of Information Interaction of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the Fight against Crimes Committed with the Use of Information Technology, as well as other pressing issues of cooperation between ministries of internal affairs in the fight against illegal migration, problems and ways to solve them.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Ramazon Rahimzoda presented a number of fruitful proposals regarding priority bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states will continue its work until August 14 and will contribute to strengthening further cooperation in the fight against organized crime.
It should be noted that the next meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states will be held in 2026 in the Republic of Tajikistan.
