On August 2, 2025, within the framework of mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation between the two friendly neighboring countries of Tajikistan and China, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Militia Colonel General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, and the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Guo Zhijun.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Militia Colonel General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Guo Zhijun to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, congratulated him on his appointment to this responsible position and wished him success in his future activities.
During the conversation, the first head of the internal affairs bodies expressed his opinion on the mutually beneficial cooperation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, noting that the Head of our state, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, pays primary attention to the mutually beneficial cooperation of these two structures that ensure security and law and order.
"We also act together to promote and strengthen this mutually beneficial cooperation, prevent all kinds of offenses, wage a ruthless fight against transnational organized crime, as well as exchange information and study each other's experience.
I am confident that this cooperation will continue to strengthen in the future, and we will achieve progress in ensuring the security and tranquility of the peoples of both countries," the Minister of Internal Affairs noted.
In turn, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Guo Zhijun, expressed gratitude to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro for the warm and sincere welcome and noted that the friendship and camaraderie of the heads of these two friendly and fraternal countries brought the hearts of our peoples closer together.
"We are always ready for the strength of this friendship and camaraderie, for the peace and stability of our peoples and for the further strengthening of this mutually beneficial cooperation," said Mr. Ambassador.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation and the prevention of all violations of the law, as well as in ensuring the security of the peoples of the two friendly and neighboring states.
