On July 18, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the driver of an Opel Astra, a man, born in 1999, while driving through the village of Namuna in the Pyandzh district, without observing traffic rules, collided with a motorcycle driven by man, born in 2005, a local resident.
As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist received injuries of varying severity and died on the way to the hospital.
Also, on July 19, 2025, at approximately 14:20, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz car, born in 1974, a resident of the Asht district, moving in the direction of the village of Iftikhor, Asht district, lost control and hit an elderly cyclist, born in 1940, a resident of the Asht district. 
As a result of the accident, the cyclist died while being taken to the hospital. 
An investigation is underway into the facts of the accident.
