President Emomali Rahmon took part in the presentation of the children’s and youth symphony orchestra
13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, participated in the presentation ceremony of the children’s and youth orchestra of the State Institution «State Symphony Orchestra» of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Sadriddin Aini State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
The concert program dedicated to the presentation of the children’s and youth orchestra of the State Institution «State Symphony Orchestra» featured works by Tajik and international composers with the participation of students of the Ahmad Bobokulov College of Arts, the Ziyodullo Shahidi Republican Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School, and the Miratullo Atoev Republican Secondary Specialized Arts Boarding School.
At the first concert of the young artists of the State Symphony Orchestra, poems by the country’s beloved and famous poets Muhammad Ghoib, Nizom Qosim, Jamoliddin Karimzoda and Davroni Davlat in praise of Tajikistan, Mother, Dushanbe, and melodies by world composers Mozart, Beethoven, Cambyses Mujdahi, Tajik composers Farhod Zikir, Ibodullo Mashrab, Saidqul Bilolov, Amirbek Musozoda, Daler Tilloev, Shuhrat Ashurov and Bakhtovar Davlatov were performed with high artistry, which was greeted with thunderous applause by the participants of the event. It is worth noting that the «Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestra» was established on February 7, 2024 under the State Institution «State Symphony Orchestra» consisting of talented children and adolescents as a reserve of academic personnel in the arts by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon. Currently, the number of artists of this symphony orchestra is 78 children and adolescents.
The State Institution “State Symphony Orchestra” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was established in August 2016 by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
The Children and Youth Orchestra was established with the aim of creating favorable conditions for acquaintance with the world of professional music, training young talents in the field of musical art, improving professional skills, strengthening high performing skills and developing the musical abilities of young people.
It should be noted that most of today’s artists are winners of the Republican Competition «Tajikistan — My Beloved Homeland» and the presenters of the program are laureates of the «Books — Source of Knowledge» competition.
The high-quality performance of these young artists once again proves that the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, to announce and launch such republican competitions, the main goal of which is to find and discover new talents among children and adolescents, have borne sweet fruits and will continue to bear fruit.
It should be recalled that with the support of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, the State Symphony Orchestra was provided with modern string, wind and percussion instruments and a separate building.
The building was renovated with a modern design and in accordance with the creative activity of the institution and was officially put into operation at the beginning of 2018.
Currently, more than 127 young musicians and specialists who have graduated from professional music schools in Tajikistan and abroad have been involved in the orchestra.
The State Institution “State Symphony Orchestra” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has recruited professional musicians from among the graduates of the Talabkhuja Sattorov Tajik National Conservatory, the Mirzo Tursunzoda Tajik State Institute of Culture and Arts, and specialized music colleges and schools of the Republic of Tajikistan on a competitive basis.
Throughout its activity, the State Symphony Orchestra has made artistic tours to cities and districts of the country and to foreign countries, including the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the republics of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.
After the completion of the first concert program of the children’s and youth orchestra of the State Institution “State Symphony Orchestra” of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the skill and talent of the performers.
During a sincere conversation with artists, the Head of State, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, gave instructions and recommendations to officials for the selection, education and training of young and promising personnel in the field and their contribution to the development of the country’s culture.
