As a result of operational and investigative activities, police officers established that a 39-year-old resident of the city of Gissar, while in the Russian Federation in January 2020, having gained the trust of a 39-year-old man in a telephone conversation in two periods, he had 2 million 506 thousand Russian rubles, promised to deliver a car from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, sent several photos of a Toyota Camry car to his phone, spent the money received for selfish purposes, and did not fulfill his promise.
A criminal case was initiated against the suspect under paragraph "b" of Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
