On May 20, 2025, in the conference hall of building No. 1 of the State Institution "Hotel Complex of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan", the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lieutenant General of Militia Alamshozoda Abdurahmon Alamsho, together with the head of the delegation of the joint working group on law and order and security at the expense of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Iran for Security and Police Aliakbar Pourjamshediyon and his accompanying persons held a regular meeting of the Joint Working Group on Law and Order and Security of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This meeting was regarded as a continuation of the political dialogue at the highest level of the heads of state of Tajikistan and Iran, during which the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of combating transnational organized crime, ensuring security and exchanging information.
