During operational and investigative activities, militia detained a 37-year-old woman, resident of the B. Gafurov district on suspicion of committing fraud.
The suspect, approximately in May 2024, took 65 thousand US dollars from a 55-year-old resident of the capital, promising to bring him an electric car in return, but did not fulfill her promise and spent the money for personal purposes.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
