On May 4, 2025, at approximately 19:10, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, a man, born in 1965, a resident of the city of Bokhtar, while driving on the territory of the rural jamoat named after H. Huseynov in the Yavan district, lost control, as a result of which the vehicle flew off the right side of the road into a drainage canal, as a result of which the driver died at the spot of the accident. 
Also, on May 5, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the driver of an Opel-Astra, a man, born in 1980, a resident of the Matcha District, while driving along the roadway of the 40th Anniversary microdistrict, lost control while turning towards the village of Buston, Matchokh District, and crashed into a Toyota Corolla driven by man, born in 1976, a local resident.
As a result of the accident, the passenger of the Opel-Astra, the man, born in 1972, a resident of the Matchokh istrict, died in the hospital from his injuries, and another passenger, a woman, born in 1996, a resident of the Matcha District, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Investigations are being conducted into the facts of the accident, the causes and circumstances of the road accidents are being established.
