On April 25, 2025, at approximately 14:10, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz, born in 1994, a resident of the Yavan district, while moving from the district center towards the village of Joylama, rural jamoat of Kh. Khuseynov, lost control and the car overturned on the right side of the road.
The car's passengers: the driver's mother, born in 1966, the driver's wife, born in 1998, the driver's children: two little boys, born in 2023 and 2021 and daughter-in-law, born in 1973, local residents died at the spot of the accident. 
An investigation is underway into the accident.
