The DMIA in Tursunzade received a statement from a 33-year-old resident of Dushanbe that in January 2025, a 31-year-old resident of Tursunzade, having gained his trust, took from him three electric of the brand "Biaidi E2" for 450 thousand somoni and two electric vehicles of the brand "Geometry" for 310 thousand somoni by bank transfer, promising to sell them within 20 days and return the money.
The suspect sold the electric cars and spent the proceeds on his own needs, also gradually took 280 thousand somoni from the victim and promised to return them during the sales.
As a result, the victim suffered especially large material damage in the amount of 1 million 40 thousand somoni.
Also, as a result of operational and investigative measures, the police detained a 46-year-old resident of the Dangara district as a suspect in committing a fraud crime.
At the end of December 2021, the suspect, having gained the trust of a 39-year-old resident of the Dangara district, the head of Saidnizomiddin LLC, introduced himself as a specialist in the poultry industry, promising to double the activities of this enterprise and increase clients, the victim believed him and hired him as his deputy, providing all opportunities for the development of the enterprise.
In April 2024, the suspect appropriated 804 thousand 253 somoni. Thus, he caused significant damage.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 3 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, an investigation is underway.
