On February 10, 2024, the suspect having gained the trust of a 27-year-old resident of the capital, took 17 thousand US dollars from him and promised to help him buy a new building in the Sino district of Dushanbe, but did not fulfill his promise.
Also, a 44-year-old local resident filed a statement with the DMIA-1 for the Shokhmansur district of Dushanbe that in March 2022, a 53-year-old resident of the Yavan district, having gained his trust, bargained, bought an apartment from him for 110 thousand dollars and promised to pay the money within two months. However, the man sold the apartment to another person, and used the proceeds for personal purposes.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
