On the initiative and with the special attention of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, special attention is paid annually to the sports sector; hundreds of sports halls, playgrounds and complexes have been built and put into operation for the health and well-being of society, which are now used by young people and adults.
In the internal affairs agencies, this initiative is also being fully implemented, all the necessary conditions for sports and physical education of employees have been created, and various sports competitions are regularly held at the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In particular, for 15 years now, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been holding various sports competitions for the Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan under the motto "Sport - against drug addiction", in which law enforcement officers, security agencies, state enterprises and departments, as well as other organizations and institutions take an active part.
And this time, from January 27 to February 24 of this year, in order to develop sports, promote a healthy lifestyle in society, strengthen friendship and camaraderie between employees of law enforcement agencies, security agencies and other state enterprises and departments of the Republic of Tajikistan, a mini-football tournament for the Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan under the motto "Sport - against drug addiction" was held in the sports complex of the Republican Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Dynamo".
The competition was held in three age categories: among employees, amateurs and veterans, 50 teams from ministries, committees and government departments took part in them.
As a result, the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Dynamo" took first place among employees, the team of Distribution Networks of the city of Dushanbe took second place, and the team of the National Medical Center "Shifobakhsh" took third place.
Thus, among amateurs, the team of athletes of the "Rakhsh-taxi" company won first place and the tournament Cup. The second place was taken by the team of the Tax Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the third place was taken by the “Dynamo” team.
Among veterans, the first place was taken by the Babylon team, the second place by the “Dynamo” team.
At the end of the competition, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Major General of Militia Muborakshozoda Gayratsho Gulomsho wished the athletes success and good luck in taking honorable places and significant achievements, presented the winners and prize winners with cups, medals, certificates of honor, gratitude, diplomas and memorable gifts.
