During the course of operational-search activities, militia officers detained a 29-year-old resident of Dushanbe on suspicion of embezzlement or waste.
The suspect worked as a warehouse manager at LLC “Pokiza M” and was recognized as a financially responsible person since October 1, 2021. In advance, he embezzled raw chicken meat products from the warehouse, embezzled them, sold them at the “Farovon” market in Dushanbe, and divided the proceeds between them.
Based on the verification report of the transaction between the General Director of LLC “Pokiza M” and the warehouse manager of this company, during the inventory of products in the warehouse, as of December 31, 2024, a shortage of chicken meat in the amount of 4 million 514 thousand 259 somoni was identified.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the investigation is ongoing.
