As a result of operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 33-year-old woman, resident of Khujand, previously convicted in 2022 under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, on suspicion of committing fraud.
The above mentioned, on October 24, 2024, having gained the trust of a 39-year-old resident of B. Gafurov district, under the pretext of carrying out entrepreneurial activity, took 950 thousand Russian rubles and 20 thousand US dollars from him and has not returned them to this day, spending them on her own needs.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, the investigation is ongoing.
