During the course of operational and investigative activities, police officers detained a 30-year-old resident of Dushanbe on suspicion of committing a robbery, who was convicted three times for committing crimes under Parts 2 and 3 of Article 237 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and under Part 2 of Article 237 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
On December 8, 2024, at approximately 00:30, while in Chilimkhan named "Simurg", located in the Firdavsi district of the capital, the suspect, through threats and violence, took an iPhone 12 Pro mobile phone from a 21-year-old resident of Dushanbe and fled the scene of the crime.
The damage caused amounted to 500 somoni.
An investigation is underway into this incident.
