On November 18, 2024, a meeting of the Joint Collegium of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation was held in Moscow, Russian Federation, with the participation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Khamro and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Police General Vladimir Aleksandrovich Kolokoltsev.
During the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Khamro, spoke and noted that the cooperation between the internal affairs agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation is strengthening day by day and will be further improved within the framework of the meeting of the Joint Collegium.
The meeting covered the most important tasks of interaction, the fight against transnational crime, the exchange of information and other topical issues were discussed. The Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation closely cooperate in the fight against crime, regularly plan and conduct joint events
During the meeting, a number of fruitful proposals were presented regarding the adoption of measures to improve cooperation between the investigative units of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, as well as to prevent, detect and solve crimes related to drug trafficking, train and improve human resources.
During the meeting, the ministers of both countries approved the Work Plan of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025, and relevant decisions were made within the framework of the Joint Collegium of the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers of both countries made closing speeches and expressed satisfaction with the results achieved.
