On November 13, 2024, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, held a meeting with a delegation of representatives of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China led by the Head of the Public Security Department of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, Mr. Chang Heping.
Initially, the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda welcomed Mr. Chang Heping to the Republic of Tajikistan and noted that every year, bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China is developing and improving on the basis of bilateral and multilateral agreements, and this mutually beneficial cooperation can be fruitful in combating undesirable phenomena, dangers and threats of our time.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on strengthening bilateral ties in the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism, drug trafficking, as well as on training highly qualified personnel, providing technical and communications assistance and other issues of interest.
