On October 31, 2024, at approximately 18:30, the driver of a «Daewoo Lanos», a man, born in 1994, a resident of the city of Gissar, while driving from the village of Chamaniston on the highway of the rural jamoat of Somoni in the city of Gissar, lost control and hit a pedestrian, a girl, born in 1989, a local resident.
As a result, the girl received serious bodily injuries and died on the spot.
Also, on November 1, 2024, at approximately 02:30, the driver of a VAZ-2115 vehicle, a man, born in 2002, a resident of the Rudaki district, while driving on the «Gissar-Dushanbe» highway, lost control and crashed into a concrete barrier and the car overturned.
As a result, the passenger of the vehicle, a girl, born in 2000, a resident of Dushanbe, died in the hospital due to severe injuries.
An investigation is underway into the accident.
