As a result of operational and investigative measures, police officers detained on suspicion of illegal entrepreneurship, a 43-year-old resident of the city of Istaravshan, an individual entrepreneur, a responsible employee of «Fobos» LLC in the city of Istaravshan.
The suspect, with the aim of obtaining profit from illegal entrepreneurship, that is, without state registration or without a special license in cases where such permission (license) is mandatory, mined white sand in large quantities, then sold it to clients for 487 thousand 800 somoni, did not pay current taxes, and by his actions caused significant material damage to the state budget. 
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 259 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, and an investigation is underway.
