During operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 49-year-old resident of Khujand on suspicion of fraud.
The above-mentioned, in May 2024, having gained the trust of a 42-year-old resident of the Asht district, for the release of his acquaintance found guilty of committing a crime under Art. 139 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan demanded 60 thousand somoni and 10 thousand US dollars from him, in exchange for which he promised to close the criminal case through the employees of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, but spent the money on his personal interests.
A criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 4 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan, an investigation is underway.
