A 60-year-old local resident of the city of Kulyab filed a complaint to the DMIA in the city of Kulyab that in May 2024, unknown persons secretly entered her apartment and stole various gold jewelry, the damage to the stolen gold items amounted to 18 thousand somoni.
During the operational search activities, militia officers have established that this crime was committed by a 50-year-old local resident previously convicted under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Also, during other operational and investigative activities, militia officers found that two men, 28 and 22 years old, residents of the city of Gissar and the Shakhrinav district, on September 4, 2024, at approximately 13:00, entered the house of a 34-year-old woman, a resident of Dushanbe, stole 4,000 somoni, 6,300 Russian rubles and 5 US dollars from the safe, and fled the spot. 
An investigation is underway into this incident.
