During operational and investigative activities, militia officers detained a 28-year-old resident of the city of Gissar on suspicion of committing murder.
On August 26, 2024, at approximately 00:30, the suspect, being near a residential building on Navruz Street, out of jealousy towards his ex-wife, a 37-year-old local resident, entered into a conflict with her, beat her, then inflicted several stab wounds to vital organs, as a result of which the victim died at the spot of the incident.
An investigation is underway into this fact.
