A 25-year-old man, local resident filed a report to the DMIA in Nurek stating that from August 12 to 13, 2024, an unknown person secretly stole his Opel Astra vehicle, which was parked on Rudaki Street in Nurek.
As a result of operational search activities, militia officers established that this crime was committed by a 25-year-old man, local resident, previously convicted under Article 237 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Also, a 31-year-old woman, resident of the Shakhrinav district with a statement about the car theft filed to the DMIA-1 in the Firdavsi district of Dushanbe stating that on August 13, 2024, at about 05:30, an unknown person stole her “KIA Rio” vehicle, which at that time was located near the “Sodot” Shopping Center in the capital.
During the investigative operations, the militia officers established that this crime was committed by a young woman aged 27, a resident of the Faizabad district.
An investigation is underway into these facts.
