Passport of a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan (IC-identity card)
The cost of one passport form is 10 US dollars when paid in national currency at the rate determined by the National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan on the day of deposit (by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 30, 2014 No. 336, the commission for issuing a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan is set at 10 US dollars) - the passport processing period is up to 15 days.
To obtain a passport/IC for the first time as a citizen, a birth certificate, a passport and a copy of the passport of the father, mother or legal representative, documents for registration at the place of residence or required at the place of temporary stay (court or official/state power of attorney, certificate from the community), a certificate of taxpayer identification number, one black and white photograph measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm without a hat, upon payment of the established amount.
At the request of the applicant, a passport with a stamp on the blood group and Rh factor or a certificate from a medical institution certified by an authorized person with a stamp is allowed to include information about the blood type and its Rh factor in the passport will be presented.

 General civil passports
General civil passports of the Republic of Tajikistan are issued by the Passport and Registration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan based on the following documents: based on the following documents:
- passport of a citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- birth certificate up to 16 years old;
- receipts for payment of state duties and other fees.

By the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 2, 2007 No. 546, the consular fee is set at 75 US dollars. In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated February 28, 2004 “On state duty” and the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated November 18, 2023 No. 2012 “On the state budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024”, the amount of the indicator for calculations is set at 108 somoni. The cost of the service in the amount of 40 somoni was approved by the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013, No. 400b / Z.

Based on paragraph 46 of the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated May 27, 2020 No. 294, for urgent registration of a foreign passport within 7 days (100%) and within 3 days (200%), the amount of payment increases as follows:
Within 7 working days: 150 US dollars, state duty - 108 somoni, for services rendered - 40 somoni.
Within 3 working days - 225 US dollars, state duty - 108 somoni, for services rendered - 40 somoni.
The cost of a general civil passport for minors within 15 working days - 25 US dollars, for services rendered - 40 somoni, within 7 working days - 50 US dollars, for services rendered - 40 somoni and within 3 working days - 75 US dollars, for services rendered - 40 somoni.
Registration and renewal of passports of foreign citizens and stateless persons
For registration and renewal of registration of passports of foreign citizens and stateless persons in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On state duty" 72 somoni of state duty is paid, and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400b / z passport and registration services are provided in the following order:
- up to 3 months 72 somoni state duty is paid, 100 somoni for the service rendered by the passport and registration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- up to 1 year 72 somoni state duty, 190 somoni for the service rendered by the passport and registration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
For registration and renewal of registration of citizens of the Commonwealth of Independent States with whom a visa-free regime has been established:
- up to 3 months 72 somoni of state duty is paid fees, 50 somoni for services rendered by the passport and registration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- up to 1 year, 72 somoni of state fees are paid, 90 somoni for services rendered by the passport and registration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
For registration and extension of registration of foreign students (full-time education):
- up to 3 months, 72 somoni of state fees are paid, 50 somoni for services rendered by the passport and registration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- up to 1 year, 72 somoni of state fees are paid, 90 somoni for services rendered by the passport and registration service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Registration and extension of registration of refugees
For registration and extension of registration of refugees in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On state duty", a state duty of 72 somoni is paid.

Invitation of foreign citizens to the Republic of Tajikistan
For issuing an invitation to foreign citizens to the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On state duty", a state duty of 72 somoni is paid, and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400b/z - passport and registration service services in the amount of 40 somoni.

Permission for entry of foreign citizens to the border zone
To obtain a permit for entry of foreign citizens to the border zone in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400b/z, 20 somoni is paid for the services rendered by the Passport and Registration Service.

Obtaining a certificate from the address bureau
To obtain a certificate from the address bureau in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400b/z, 10 somoni is paid for the services of the Passport and Registration Service.

Determining citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan
For consideration of materials on determining citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On State Duty", a state fee of 144 somoni is paid, and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400б/з - for servicing the passport and registration service in the amount of 10 somoni.

Acceptance of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan and renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan
For consideration of materials on the acceptance of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan and renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On State Duty", a state fee of 144 somoni is paid, and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400б/з for servicing the passport and registration service in the amount of 30 somoni.

To register a house book
For registering a house book, citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated August 8, 2016 No. 474 shall pay 25 somoni for passport and registration services.

Registration of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan
For registering citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On state duty", a state duty of 18 somoni shall be paid.

Temporary registration of citizens of Tajikistan
For issuing a temporary registration form for citizens of Tajikistan in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On state duty", a state duty of 18 somoni shall be paid, and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400b / z - passport and registration service services in the amount of 20 somoni.

Residence Act for Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons
For the issuance of a residence certificate to foreign citizens and stateless persons and the extension of its validity, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On State Duty", a state duty of 144 somoni is provided, and in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs dated June 5, 2013 No. 400b/z, 800 somoni is paid for the issuance of a residence certificate and the extension of its validity in the amount of 400 somoni.

Series "A" certificate for stateless persons
Issue of series "A" certificate to stateless persons on the basis of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 28, 2004 No. 19 "On state duty" in the amount of 144 somoni of state duty and on the basis of the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 5, 2013 No. 400б/з for servicing the Passport and Registration Service 800 somoni are paid, extension of its validity is paid 400 somoni.
