During operational and investigative activities, militia officers established that in 2012, a 57-year-old resident of Penjikent gained the trust of a 54-year-old local resident under the pretext of helping him buy a garden plot near his house, took 10 thousand US dollars from him, and spent the money on his own needs.
A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 247 of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
